Manifesto Television

Almost all of the paperwork is done.

The non-profit we’ve been discussing for a few months now is in progress. The name?

“Manifest Nation.”

But that’s not the most important part. The non profit is an advocacy and outreach group which aims to educate and inspire young (and old) to exercise their rights in their local, national, and global community.

It took the work of several dedicated folks to make this happen. We’ll be thanking them all profusely very very soon.

World Car Free Day

Is a great idea. It’s being promoted by Adbusters among many others as an answer for the car-centric culture we live in.

What I love about it is that it’s a page out of a script I wrote several years ago. My version is only a little different and not specifically about car culture, but it’s a picture of a world where people head out into the streets, see each other face to face and leave behind their daily grind. For good.

I’d say more in detail, but hey it’s the last page of my movie!

Video bloggers and filmmakers will be asked to answer certain questions (to be disclosed) that they want the world to know.

5 contest winners will receive placement in the feature length documentary, MANIFESTO: TELEVISION.
